Two Weeks Left

After last week's update, you decided to really look in to this whole County Committee thing.

And you did!  You found your representatives and looked into getting in touch with them.

In fact, you did so well, that we've got at least 15 candidates already planning to run!

But then, time passed, and, before you knew it was Sunday again, and you were reading another of these messages.

So, just like last week, we're here to remind you that we still have time to get you on the ballot.  If you're confused about what you need to do, send us an email, and check out the petition submission instructions below:

Since you've read our guide to the County Committee, you know that, once you've decided to run, you need to submit a notarized petition to your municipal clerk's office by April 1.  This petition should have somewhere around 20 signatures from registered Democrats from your district--these will be your future constituents!  Once you've done that, you are officially a candidate.

And this is where we can help--email us for information on how to get your petition and how to get it notarized--if you live in Jersey City, we even have a few petitions on hand that we can provide.

We hope to hear from you soon!
