After skipping September, NJ-08 for Progress is back this week with another Democratic Primary Debate watch party.
We hope you'll join us, and the Hudson County DSA, on Tuesday, starting at 7:30 PM, at the Fox and Crow in Jersey City Heights. With twelve candidates on one stage, and loads of good friends to discuss them with, it will definitely be a worthwhile evening.
And, of course, we're now just 23 days from Election Day! Here's what you can do:
Learn more about Jersey City school board candidates in your neighborhood. The Van Vorst Park Association is hosting the candidates at their meeting at Barrow Mansion on Tuesday at 7PM. Then, the Hamilton Park Neighborhood Association is hosting candidates at their meeting at the park gazebo on Wednesday starting at 6PM.
Also on Wednesday, come by the Zeppelin Hall Beirgarten from 7PM to 9:30PM to learn more about the Short-Term Rental Ordinance.
Then, on Saturday, 10/26, we'll be venturing out to NJ LD26 (Essex/Morris/Passaic) to canvass for Democratic candidate Christine Clarke.
Our friends at the Sierra Club are also hosting Ice Cream Scoops Against Climate Change at Ben and Jerry's in West New York from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, 10/17, and a nature walk through Lincoln Park West on Saturday, 10/26.
United We Dream is also hosting
And don't forget to call your House Reps and tell them your opinion on the Impeachment Inquiry. Give them a call:
