Five Weeks Left

This week we learned that the best therapy for the degradation that is the Supreme Court nomination process is to work toward ending Republican control of government.  Here's the plan:

During the week, we will have phone bank and postcard writing events locally around Hudson County and Jersey City.  On the weekend, we'll be heading out to canvass in NJ-07, NJ-03, and NJ-11.  You can find all of our upcoming events on this lovely spreadsheet.

We're looking for as many volunteers, and event captains, as we can find, so take some time to fill out the Volunteer to Flip the House form.

THIS WEEK

We'll have two chances to contribute locally this week.  

  • We'll be joining Hudson CAN's Help Get Out the Vote Postcard Writing Event at Hudson Tavern in Hoboken on Tuesday, October 2.  Come out, write some postcards, and hear from State Assemblywomen Angela V. McKnight and Annette Chaparro.  

  • Then, join us at the private home of a wonderful volunteer near Grove Street in Jersey City for another round of phone banking and postcard writing on Thursday, 10/4, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

And then we've got TWO chances to canvass next weekend:

  • Crystal is back with another trip out to canvass for Tom Malinowski on Sunday, 10/7, leaving Jersey City at 11 AM.

  • And we'll have another group heading down to sunny Toms River to canvass for Andy Kim on Sunday, as well, leaving Jersey City at 9 AM.

And of course, don't forget to take some time this week to call our Senators to thank them for fighting to keep another red-faced man of privilege off the Supreme Court--just call 1-844-778-3056 and you will be automatically connected to both Booker and Menendez.
